SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ------ RECAP: A peaking combo of short to intermediate period WSW-WNW swells put lots of spots in chest to head high surf on Monday while top breaks hit several feet plus overhead. OUTLOOK: The latest blend of swells will be gradually winding down on Tuesday but it will continue to roll in fun waves into the middle of the week. There will also be some rainy weather over the next few days. BAJA ------ RECAP: A mix of building WNW wind and ground swell and SSE swell was reported on Monday. For most Northern Baja spots that meant at least head high waves, with sets to several feet overhead at best breaks. Southern Baja spots were seeing mainly the SSE swell for waist-shoulder+ waves. OUTLOOK: The WNW swell will build in Southern Baja on Tuesday while Northern Baja breaks see a fading trend.
