It may even be installed by way of a system vulnerability simply because you connected to the Internet in the first place. System Mechanic's Spython tool protects you from these threats to your security and privacy.
To see if your computer is infected with spyware, following these steps:
1. Start System Mechanic by double-clicking on its corresponding "toolbox" icon located within the Windows desktop.
2. Navigate to the "Protect" tab, and then select the tool labeled "Eliminate Spyware". The Spython dashboard will appear. Select the "Start Spython Wizard" option.
3. The Spython wizard will appear. It is always a good idea to check for new parasite definitions as we are constantly adding new spyware. Select the button labeled "Download new parasite definitions". When the definitions are updated, select "Next".
4. To ensure that default options are set, select the option labeled "List any found parasites for individual inspection and removal.� and then ensure that the box labeled "Display parasite summary upon scan completion" is checked.
5. Select the button labeled "Scan" to begin scanning for spyware parasite infections. The scan will commence, and shouldn't take more than a minute to complete.
6. If any parasites are detected on your computer, a summary report will be displayed indicating the number and classification of these items. Select "OK" to close this report window and access the parasite removal interface. If no parasites are found, a message indicating so will be displayed and the Spython tool may be closed.
7. If parasites are detected, your first instinct may be anger, followed by curiosity with regards to how they arrived on your system. The truth is that you most likely inadvertently "allowed" them to infect your computer by installing "free" software that came secretly bundled with spyware. The "free" software manufacturer will get paid for every spyware parasite that is installed with their product. Money is surreptitiously generated by the spyware manufacturers because they now have control over your system and can force-feed advertisements and offers to you at will. Spyware makers get paid by advertisers to feed demographically targeted ads and offers to unsuspected computer users who are infected by their spyware. This is just one of the various ways PC parasites operate -- some spyware parasites are much more ruthless and viral. Just remember: When installing software, there's no such thing as a free lunch!
8. To remove all parasites, select the button labeled "Show all". Next, select the button labeled "Remove", and then select the option labeled "Remove all displayed parasites". Removal shouldn't take more than a few seconds.
9. Once your system is parasite-free, you may close the Spython tool.
Tips for staying spyware-free:
a) Don't install "free" software. Any product that doesn't appear to cost any money is somehow generating enough money to support its developers, marketers, business owners, and all other elements that go along with the creation and maintenance of any product within any business model.
